m2 and ellie

 this is m2.

this is ellie.

ellie and m2 spend a lot of time together.  at the grocery store, in the car, in bed, playing tea party... it's a BIG deal when ellie gets lost.  i took advantage of the nice weather (68 degrees four days after our snow day) to vacuum out the car and sweep the garage.  this is how m2 and ellie spent their time together. 

  

i should know better...

than to play around with my camera settings while little man is on the court.  because he will steal the ball, run baseline to baseline and lay it in to perfection.  seriously, look at that form!  right elbow up with an imaginary line pulling the right knee up and softly letting the ball spring off the fingertips... can you tell i am the wife of a (long-time) coach?  they record college bball games so they can rewind and dissect proper form.  note to self: play with the shutter speed when little man is on the bench!

so, i highlighted a *doink* of little man's... how about some of the good baskets.  he usually scores about 10-14 points a game.  i still have so many pictures to go through ~ these are from the first few weeks.  some photo credit to my mom since i am usually on cheer duty for the first 1/2 of his games.

 UPWARD cheerleading and basketball is the best!  i have a great group of girls this year, seven returned from last year which makes learning things even better.

little man is a great basketball player, i have lots of shots of the ball going in.  but i do love the look on his daddy's face when he stops just past half court to take this open shot.  especially since there was a clear path to the basket.  earlier in the game he made this same shot ~ i was with my cheerleaders and missed it.

family traditions: watching the australian open live ~ 3:00 on sunday morning ~ followed by a pancake breakfast before church.  there might be naps in the near future!
